Agentic AI Use Case Feasibility Evaluation

Score a specific, named AI use case against the dimensions that most often decide whether it ships and delivers, or stalls after the pilot. Haven't shortlisted a use case yet? Start with the Data & AI Opportunity Matrix first.

This checklist gives you the information. The judgment on what it means for you is still yours. You'll need to enter your email at the end to see your score.

Your progress0 of 10 · 0%
Data readiness
Is the data this use case needs available, accessible, and reasonably clean today, without a major upstream project first?
Is there a clear owner for the data this use case depends on, who can grant access and vouch for its quality?
Technical feasibility
Does the capability this use case needs exist off the shelf, rather than requiring novel research or engineering?
Can this use case be integrated into existing systems and workflows without a ground-up platform rebuild?
Business value
Is the expected upside (revenue, cost saving, or risk reduction) sized in terms leadership will recognise as material?
Is there a specific, named business owner who wants this outcome and will champion it past a pilot?
Organisational readiness
Do the teams who would own and operate this have the skills and capacity to do so, or a credible plan to acquire them?
Is there leadership sponsorship and budget already identified, rather than pending a separate approval cycle?
Risk & governance
Are the ways this use case could fail or cause harm identified, with a named owner accountable if they occur?
Are the controls needed before launch (review, monitoring, rollback) already understood, rather than left to figure out later?

This tool is provided to help you structure your own thinking about a specific AI use case and is not a guarantee of project success. Your result is a starting point for discussion, not a substitute for a detailed feasibility study. Scored more than one use case? Portfolio Enablement can help you sequence and resource them.
